Tower assists at Amity Twp. Vehicle Entrapment
FEBRUARY 22
- 05:20 Hrs: Tower 7 was dispatched to assist Co 6 (Monarch) & 49 (Amity) with a tractor trailer accident with entrapment. The tractor had left the road causing it to roll down an embankment of approximately 25 feet. New Members attend SCBA in-house training
FEBRUARY 21
- 18:30 Hrs: Each week members of BUFD get together and conduct training of some aspect of the fire, rescue or EMS service. Tonight, members trained on SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus). Working Chimney Fire in Amity
FEBRUARY 12
- 0907hrs - Tower 7 was dispatched along with Companies 6 (Monarch), 49 (Amity), and Rescue 1 (Mt. Penn) for RIT for a report chimney fire on Gullob Rd, Amity Twp. Chief 49 arrived on location confirming a working chimney fire and established Gullob Drive command. High Angle Rescue in Exeter Twp.
FEBRUARY 05
- 12:05 hrs. Rescue 7 was dispatched with Company 25 (Exeter Twp) and M680 (Southern Berks EMS) for a high angle rescue. Chief 7 (C. Bickings) arrived to find a cherry picker bucket that had two men trapped from a falling tree that they had cut.
