| Company 7, Quint 6 and Tanker 6 (Monarch) and CC Engine 64-1 (NORCO) for (RIT) were dispatched for a reported structure fire at 8 Heather Ln Union Township. There was a company 49 (Amity) firefighter on location reporting heavy fire showing from the garage. Assistant 7 (Hernandez) requested the 2nd alarm for additional tankers. Quint 6 arrived first and went in service in the driveway with a 1 3/4 inch hand line and set the main to the roof. The initial crew made an aggressive interior attack containing the fire to the garage with minor extension into the residence.
Although the cause is still under investigation, the estimated fire loss was $75,000. |
