On July 16 at approximately 6:09pm, station 7 was dispatched to the area of Chestnut St/ Shed Rd for reports of a smoking vehicle overturned into the woods. On arrival, Chief 7 confirmed on Shed Rd, a box truck struck a tree off the side of the roadway with one male occupant heavily entrapped. The patient was extricated and CPR was attempted. On scene, PSP requested for the coroner. Fire police had the road shut down until 7:40pm while crews removed the vehicle from the woods and the police/coroner performed their investigations.
