Lieutenant Tara Miluszewski

Please join us in congratulating Lieut. Tara Miluszewski as she was inducted into her high school Hall of Fame on October 7, 2016.
Tara graduated in June of 2008 from Highstown High School in NJ and is just the second track & field inductee to have specialized in field events. Tara also played four years of basketball and was part of six conference championship teams in soccer and track. She was the Rams Female Athlete of the Year as a senior.

Tara set records for points in a season (251) and career (769) while throwing the shot, discus and javelin. She won the Group III and Meet of Champions gold medal in javelin as a junior, throwing a school record 134-2. She took 12th in the Nike Outdoor Nationals in javelin and eighth in the Penn Relays, while also taking fourth in the MOC as a senior and sixth as a sophomore. Tara was All-CVC in track all four years, and was a first-team All-CVC soccer goalkeeper as a junior and senior. She was named to the All-Mercer 33, All Area and NJGSCA All-State teams as a senior.

Tara went on to attend the University of Maryland and had the second best throw in school history of 137-2, giving her sixth at the ACC Outdoor Championships. She also placed sixth at the Florida Relays, and second at the Mason Invitational.

We are all so very proud of all your accomplishments, Congratulations Tara.
