| 22:05 Hrs. The Department along with Southern Berks EMS were dispatched to the 1400 block of Chestnut St. (RT 345) for a vehicle rescue. Responding units were advised of a car into a tree with possible ejection. Chief 7 arrived to find negative ejection, however one subject was trapped in the vehicle. EMS arrived and stood down the rescue operations as the patient was deceased. Rescue 7 remained on scene to provide lighting for PSP and for extrication. RT 345 was closed for over two hours while emergency personnel were operating. |
