Reflective Address Signs Now Available

If you called 911, could we find your address quickly?

 

We need your help! Do you have large Easy-to-Read, Reflective Address Numbers on your house or at your driveway entrance?

Proper addressing is very important to our Fire Department. Every home should be identified with numbers large enough to see. Reflective numbers shine at night by reflecting off the headlights of on coming vehicles. Even on a dark, rainy night we can see them well. They should be 3" or more, large enough to see at a fast speed. The address numbers need to be on both sides facing traffic.

Every minute counts! It can mean the difference between life and death. Responders don't want to slow down to search for addresses. Even worse, would be having to stop and check or turn around if we missed your address. It is very frustrating to us, because we want to get to your home as soon as possible in an emergency.

As your Fire Department we have started a campaign to get more Reflective Addressing up in our area. We have chosen a quality reflective panel to offer at the station. For only $20.00 we will put the numbers on the markers for you and install if needed.
