07:55 Hrs. Tower 7 was dispatched to the 500 block of Monocacy Creek Rd. for a building fire. With the daytime Duty Crew in place, the Tower was able to respond quickly with a crew of 4. Chief 7 arrived on scene, reporting a small fire in the wall and smoke throughout the structure. Tower 7 arrived a few minutes later, taking the front of the building. Quint 6 crew deployed a hoseline to the D side of the building. BUFD personnel assisted with overhaul and ventilation and were cleared of the call within 45 minutes. Additional BUFD units were added to the assignment as a cover up.
