06:50 Hrs: Company 7 and M680 Station 1 (Southern Berks EMS) were dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Unknown Injuries at the intersection of Main Street and Shed Rd. After dispatch Berks County Communication Center received reports of a vehicle fire, adding Rescue-Engine 6 (Monarch) to the call. Rescue-Engine 6 arrived moments before Rescue 7 and found one vehicle well involved in fire. Crews worked together to extinguished the fire, while also assisting EMS with patient care. Fire Police closed Main Street between N. Main Street and Shed Road until the fire was extinguished.
