Rescue 7 assists Montgomery County on chemical fire

07:06 Hrs. Rescue 7 was dispatched to assist Montgomery County Station 57 (West End) on a working building fire at 400 Old Reading Pike in West Pottsgrove Twp. During the response, Berks County units were advised that the building fire was now involving a hazardous chemical that was not identified. Rescue 7's crew performed Rapid Intervention duties for over five hours.
