Kitchen Fire on East 9th Street

20:11 Hrs: The Department along with mutual aid were dispatched to the 700 Block of E. 9th Street for a house fire. Deputy 7 (S. Kulp) arrived to find smoke showing and one patient needing medical care. Engine 7 (M. Hernandez) arrived and deployed hand lines and initiated an interior attack, while Tower 7 laddered the building. Crews from mutual aid assisted with fire suppression and overhaul.
