RESCUE 7 was dispatched to Chestnut St / Shed Rd at 9:01pm for a motorcycle accident with injuries. It was reported that the motorcycle ran the stop sign and crashed into the embankment. The driver of the motorcycle failed to see the stop sign and slid with the bike approximately 40 feet prior to hitting a tree. The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. PSPR and fire police assisted with the call, opening back up the roadway at 9:47pm once the motorcycle was removed.
