Department responds to three reported building fires

16:36 Hrs. The Department was requested to assist CO5 (Oley) on a working dwelling fire on Fisher Mill Rd. in Oley Township. Tower 7 responded on the third alarm, and was instructed to assist with RIT operations. The crew returned to station at 20:02 Hrs. 20:53 Hrs. the Department was dispatched to assist CO24 (Geigertown) with a basement fire in the 1200 block of Buck Hollow Rd. in Robeson Township. Tower 7, Engine 7, Engine 7-1, and Tanker 7 all made the response. Engine 24 arrived and deployed a hoseline to extinguish the fire. The crew from Tower 7 checked for extension and assisted with ventilation. The Department returned to station at 22:00 Hrs. 22:08 Hrs. the structure assignment was dispatched to the 500 block of West Fourth St. in the Borough for a reported dwelling fire. Engine 7 arrived in the block and reported a controlled burn in the alley. The assignment was quickly recalled.
