BUFD Responds to another Accident at Rt 724 and River Bridge Rd

12:50 Hrs: Company 7, Rescue-Engine 6 (Monarch) and M680 (Southern Berks EMS) were dispatched to Rt 724 & River Bridge Rd for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries. Upon Deputy 7 (C. Bickings) response, Berks Communication reported a female patient with severe head and neck injuries. Rescue-Engine 6 arrived first to find a female trapped in the vehicle and began extricating her with hydraulic tools. A total of 2 patient's were transported to RMMC. River Bridge Road and Route 724 were shut down in this area for approximately 1 hour until the cars were removed.
